Make Your Own Dog Bowl- January

Made with love. Approved by paws.

75 US dollars
369 S. Pearl, Denver

Service Description

Your dog eats every meal like it’s the best day of their life—shouldn’t their bowl reflect that energy? In this fun, hands-on class, you’ll create a custom ceramic dog bowl that’s as unique as your furry best friend. You’ll shape your bowl, decorate it with colors, designs, and pictures (paw prints, bones, portraits, abstract “art,” you name it), and make something sturdy enough to survive enthusiastic tail wagging and sloppy eaters. No pottery experience needed—if you can pet a dog, you can make a bowl. Expect laughs, creativity, and lots of “wow, that actually turned out great” moments. Bowls will be glazed and fired after class, resulting in a food-safe, dog-approved masterpiece. Perfect for dog parents, gift-makers, and anyone whose camera roll is 90% pet photos. The class is taught by Mia Connoly, a graduate of Metro State University, who knows her clay, loves a good design challenge, and promises a judgment-free zone for all artistic choices—no matter how abstract. All materials, glazing, and firing are included. Beginners welcome. Good vibes encouraged. **This is a sculpting class -- NOT on the wheel** *The additional photos on this listing are of creation examples for inspiration purposes only* Additional Information: Your creations will be ready for pickup from the studio approximately 2-3 weeks from the workshop date. You should receive a pickup email when they're finished, but if it is eaten by filters, please come by the studio after 4 weeks to check on your pots or send us an email. Any pottery left at the studio 6 weeks after the workshop date will be donated, so please pick up your work in time! YOU MUST SIGN YOUR POTTERY. Denver Ceramic Studio is not liable for lost pieces that are unsigned and mistakenly claimed by another student. Not all pieces are guaranteed to make it out of the kiln if instructions are not followed. Inconsistencies in thickness can cause cracks or even shattering in the firing process. However, the goal is to just have fun, so don’t stress about it!
